“You have treated me like a king,” Pastor Fue said near the end of his visit. And I said to him, “Yes, because when we visited you, you all treated us like kings and queens.”

What a blessing Pastor Fue’s visit to Iowa was! With our own eyes and hearts we saw, in these days, God worked God’s purpose to draw all people and all creation together in love. It is some miracle, like the one at Pentecost, that in a deep and special way we can show love to each other, Iowa to Tanzania and Tanzania to Iowa. As if in no other way, we can know through each other how great God’s love is for us.

Seeds were planted in these weeks that will germinate and grow for years to come.

“Thank you. You sacrificed your time, your energy, your property, etc., etc.,” Pastor Fue said at his Farewell Dinner. “All for me, so I would feel happy and loved. Thank you.”

Thanks be to God.
